CAPACITYPayment America’s collection software runs on a Hewlett Packard RP3440-4 UNIX server with a CACHE’ database. The system utilizes a one gigahertz, dual-core RISC CPU with one gigabyte (GB) of RAM. Current disk capacity for data is a RAID utilizing ten, seventy-three GB SCSI drives. The Company’s current active inventory is over 1,000,000 accounts, with 20,000 or more new accounts per month. The Company maintains a gigabit backbone for its servers and has an extended LAN network utilizing 3COM switches for 100mb connectivity at all workstations. The network currently consists of one UNIX server, four Windows 2000/2003 servers and approximately 100 PCs. A Windows 2000 Imaging and Archiving server (DISQ/OAR) retains HCFAS, EOBs, I/S Bankruptcy information, patient correspondence, client correspondence, and the Company’s Payment-In-Full (PIF), cancelled and Post-Settlement Accounts (PSA) accounts. To facilitate its quality control efforts Payment America use a server (Voice Track) which digitizes and records conversations between patient and collector for retrieval and review. |
